Inte vet jag om det är forskning men de här personerna från the Salt Lake Astronomical Society släpper bowlingklot från flygplan för att ta reda på vad som händer när en meteorit träffar jorden. Men de erkänner ju också att det finns andra dragningskrafter med projektet än att förstå meteoriter.
