Presentationsteknik

Blind höna skriver om att Powerpoint gör oss dumma. Genom att försöka få in så mycket information som möjligt i fina bilder så blir det i stället oförståeligt. Känns som att det inte bara är själva formatet som gör presentationer sämre. Wired nämner i en artikel om vetenskaps-TV Brian Alexanders bok How Biotech Became the New Religion där han beskriver ett vetenskapligt föredrag på ett träffande sätt.

Känner igen det där, datorstrul, nedsläckt rum, man ser knappt talaren som försöker gå igenom alldeles för många bilder på den tid han fått tilldelad. Oftast verkar det som att doktorander är bättre än seniora forskare. De är mer förberedda, håller tiden och har ansträngt sig för att förklara på ett vettigt sätt.
